A car blew through an exterior wall and all the way into a Burlington County pub Saturday afternoon, police in Edgewater Park said.

The car ended up inside the 45th Street Pub on Route 130 in Edgewater Park at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday.

“Earlier today, a driver accidentally drove into our building,” the pub said in an update on the incident Saturday.

A driver pulled into the parking lot of the pub today at about 3 p.m. and accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake while parking, the bar’s owner, Omer Onal, told NJ Advance Media Saturday.

About 10 people were inside the bar at the time of the incident, Onal said.

No injuries were reported and the pub was evacuated, according to police.

The restaurant is assessing the damage and working on repairs, according to the update posted on Facebook.

The pub announced on Facebook it will be closed until further notice. A voice message left at the restaurant was not immediately returned.

“We will fix the damage as soon as we are allowed to and open our doors once again,” the restaurant wrote. “It was a very unfortunate situation.”
