The Chinese bubble tea chain Guming gained over 10 percent in local gray markets on Tuesday ahead of its trading debut.
The first new stock in the Year of the Snake rose 11.9 percent from its offer price at HK$9.94, the upper hand of its price range, to HK$11.12 on Bright Smart Securities’ platform, giving a paper gain of HK$472 on per board lot of 400 shares.
The shares closed 10.3 percent and 10.9 percent higher from the offer price on Futu Securities and Phillip Securities’ platform, respectively. The stock is set to debut on Wednesday.
