Several actors took to social media to share their surprise as well as gratitude for their nominations.
Walton Goggins
This is the year for Walton Goggins, and few had expected him not to make it to the nominations. The actor was nominated in the Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series category for The White Lotus.
Expressing his joy at making it to the nominations list, Goggins shared a heartfelt note on Instagram, along with a still of him from the show. The caption read, “Rick Hatchett. I still think about this moment all the time… when, if only for an instant, all is right in the world. How fragile it can be. Congratulations team White Lotus… and all you other nominees.”
Natasha Rothwell
Another White Lotus star on the list, Natasha Rothwell, seemed to be in disbelief about her nomination. The actress is competing in the Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama Series category. She shared the same through a selfie along with an image of the Emmy nominations 2025 list on Instagram. Also thanking the show’s creator, Mike White, Rothwell stated, “My cup runneth over. I am overjoyed, overwhelmed, and over the f—— moon.”
Ben Stiller
Ben Stiller is nominated in the Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series category for Severance in this year’s Emmys. Furthermore, it seems that the actor was genuinely grateful for all the 27 nominations the Apple TV+ show has received. “Thank you to the Television Academy for the tremendous support of our show. It’s incredible to be nominated with all these amazing shows,” Stiller wrote on Instagram.
Kristen Bell
Nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy category for Nobody Wants This, Kristen Bell was also happy for Erin Foster, the show’s creator. The actress posted a clever Instagram photo celebrating her own nomination as well as the Netflix series.
Michael Urie
Nominated in the Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series category for Shrinking, actor Michael Urie thanked the show’s cast and crew in his Instagram post. In another post, he shared a sweet exchange between him and his co-star, Harrison Ford, who has also been nominated in the same category.
All of these, as well as many more incredible artists, will go to the Emmy Awards 2025, which will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
