La Liga giants Barcelona have this week been afforded a timely boost on the personnel front.
This comes in the form of confirmation that Pedri has rejoined the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad in group training.
Midfielder Pedri has for his part of course spent recent weeks condemned to the treatment table.
After picking up a muscular injury during a Champions League meeting with Slavia Praha, the Spanish international was forced to sit out each of Barcelona’s last seven fixtures in all competitions.
And his absence has been sorely felt, in particular over the last week, with the Blaugrana fresh off a pair of back-to-back defeats at the hands of Atlético Madrid and Girona.
Safe to say, then, that all associated with the reigning La Liga champions will be delighted with the latest word stemming from the Ciutat Esportiva.
As per a report from Barca insider Javier Miguel of Diario AS, Pedri played his part in several stages of group training with Hansi Flick’s squad on Thursday.
The hope, in turn, is that the 23-year-old will be available to at least take his place on the bench against Levante this weekend.
