Raphinha conjured up a sensational individual performance on Wednesday night, as Barca sent Newcastle United packing from the Champions League in comprehensive fashion.
En route to a 7-2 Blaugrana triumph on the evening, the Brazilian directly contributed to four goals (a brace and two assists).
And such exploits proved enough for Raphinha to beat out the competition to finish in top spot in the Champions League Player of the Week voting poll.
Following the former Leeds United man in 2nd, meanwhile, was a fellow countryman, in the form of Vinícius Jr.
The 25-year-old was responsible for a match-winning double of his own in Real Madrid’s win over Manchester City on Tuesday.
