Disney has renewed Wizards Beyond Waverly Place for a third and final season as a four-part event. Selena Gomez will reprise her role as Alex Russo, executive produce, and direct the premiere episode. Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord
Disney+ has renewed Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord for a second season ahead of its April 6 premiere. Creator Dave Filoni announced the renewal after becoming Lucasfilm’s new co-president and chief creative officer. Season 1 dropped with two episodes at 12 a.m. PT on Disney+.
Love on the Spectrum
Netflix has renewed Love on the Spectrum for a fifth season following Season 4’s April 1 debut. Fan favorite Connor Tomlinson confirmed his exit, saying, “I feel like three seasons is enough to tell my story and find love on my own time.” The docu-reality series has won multiple Emmys, including outstanding unstructured reality program in 2025.
La Oficina (The Office Mexican Remake)
Prime Video has renewed La Oficina, the Mexican Office adaptation, for a second season less than a month after its March 13 debut. Amazon MGM Studios head Javiera Balmaceda said it “quickly became our most-watched title on Prime Video locally.” Showrunner Marcos Bucay confirmed Season 2 will feature “unexpected office romances, a French soap conglomerate, and maybe even a horse in the office.”
Memory of a Killer
Fox renewed Memory of a Killer for Season 2 on April 6, the same day the Season 1 finale aired. The Patrick Dempsey-led drama debuted to 16.2 million viewers, making it Fox’s biggest drama debut in six years. Warner Bros. Television Group CEO Channing Dungey called the lead performances “powerful and compelling.”
