Cinnabar and Waterbed are two animals available for adoption at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society.
Cinnabar, an 8-year-old dog, was rescued along with six other dogs from poor conditions, according to a community announcement. She is described as talkative in her kennel but happy and curious outside of it. Cinnabar is spayed and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.

Waterbed, part of the shelter’s “80’s group,” is a roughly 1-year-old cat. She and her possible sister, Whee-Lo, were brought in as strays, both pregnant. Waterbed is described as sweet, enjoys being petted and takes afternoon naps. She gets along well with other cats and is also spayed and current on vaccinations and preventatives.

Those interested in adopting Cinnabar, Waterbed or any other animal can visit the shelter from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and from 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. The shelter is closed on Thursday.
