US President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden spent their final Thanksgiving holiday on Nantucket, as per family tradition. While Vice President Kamala Harris is celebrating Thanksgiving with her family.
The President visited a fire station on Nantucket, continuing his annual tradition. The Bidens are spending their time at billionaire David Rubenstein’s residence, which has been their holiday accommodation for three consecutive years.
Biden took to his account on X and said, “Our first responders show up in our darkest times to provide hope, light, and care — they’re the best of us. Jill and I headed over to the Nantucket Fire Department this Thanksgiving to say hello and offer our thanks for all these men and women do for their community.”
The President and First Lady Jill Biden spent Thursday speaking with military personnel from various service branches deployed worldwide, according to White House officials. The President’s entourage this time included his daughter Ashley Biden and son Hunter Biden, along with Hunter’s spouse Melissa and their four-year-old son Beau, Jr.
Vice President Kamala Harris celebrates Thanksgiving with family
Vice President Kamala Harris concluded Thanksgiving by sharing a video of her with her husband Doug Emhoff and family on Friday (Indian time).
Sharing the video on X, Kamala said, “From our family to yours, happy Thanksgiving.”
In the video, along with her husband, her step children Ella and Cole Emhoff along with other members. Earlier, she posted a a video wishing on Thanksgiving with her husband.
“Greetings everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving!” Kamala Harris said beginning the message. “Today we come together to reflect on what we are thankful for and to share our appreciation for one another, surrounded by family, friends, and those we cherish, we cook our favorite recipes, share family stories, serve those in need and give thanks for our blessings,” Doug said.”On Thanksgiving, we also expressed our gratitude as a nation for our service members and their families who sacrifice so much to protect our nation and our most sacred values,” Harris said.’So again, from our family to yours,’ she said. ‘Happy Thanksgiving everyone!’ Harris and Emhoff said in unison.
Robert F Kennedy Jr shares ‘how to cook Turkey’
Robert F Kennedy Jr, who has been nominated by President-elect Donald Trump to serve as the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services, shared a lighthearted video on social media. In the video, Kennedy is seen preparing a Thanksgiving turkey while offering festive wishes to his followers.
In the clip posted on his social media platform X, Kennedy begins by placing a raw turkey into a cooking utensil, saying, “This is the dangerous part.” As the turkey sizzles in what appears to be a pot of hot boiling water, he remarks, “We wait for it to stop making noise.”
Kennedy then asks his wife, American actress Cheryl Hines, “Honey, are you gonna eat some of this?” to which she replies, “Aah no, I don’t eat turkey.”
As the turkey continues to cook, Kennedy adds, “We’re going to leave it there for 40 minutes,” before pausing briefly and saying, “Perfect.” After the turkey is cooked, he takes the meat out and places it into a dish, saying, “That’s gonna be delicious.”
Trump hosts Thanksgiving dinner at Mar-a-Lago, Musk joins
US President-elect Donald Trump, following the tradition, held a Thanksgiving dinner for the inner circle at Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. The 1920s palace has been his go-to destination for the Thanksgiving holidays.
The holidays for Trump are normally a close family affair, joined by his children and grandchildren but this time Musk and his mother also joined them. Actor Sylvester Stallone was also present at the event.
At the dinner party, Musk was seen grooving at the YMCA song and also interacting with the actor Sylvester Stallone.
