As the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday approach, travellers across Greater China are planning trips to a wider range of destinations. IHG Hotels & Resorts is offering an early booking deal for stays at participating hotels, alongside accommodation options across its brands in the region.
Travel Trends Across Greater China
Longer trips are becoming part of holiday plans, with travellers spending more time exploring individual destinations. Western Sichuan, known for its mountain landscapes, alpine lakes and local culture, is among the regions attracting interest.
IHG properties including Holiday Inn Express Litang, Holiday Inn Express Daocheng Yading and Holiday Inn Batang provide accommodation options for travellers exploring the area.
Short breaks closer to home are also part of the holiday season. Destinations such as Huzhou, Ningbo, Suzhou, Wuxi and Nanjing offer access to scenic areas and leisure activities, with IHG hotels including Crowne Plaza Huzhou, Holiday Inn Resort Ningbo Ninghai, Hotel Indigo Suzhou Yangcheng Lake, InterContinental Wuxi Taihu New City and voco Nanjing Garden Expo.
Travellers are also exploring destinations outside the traditional city-break circuit, including Qinhuangdao, Chongli, Wugong Mountain, Wushan and Luoyang. The early bird offer covers participating hotels across a range of IHG brands and destinations, giving members an option to plan their holiday stays ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day period.
Through IHG One Rewards, members can also access programme benefits when staying at participating hotels across Greater China.
