LOS ANGELES — Thursday night at Los Angeles Stadium in Inglewood felt like anything but a formality. A surging sea of red, white and blue filled the seats, transforming the FIFA World Cup 2026 Group D finale between the United States and Turkey into a dazzling Hollywood spectacle.
A capacity crowd arrived in a kaleidoscope of colorful wigs, face paint and flags, with notable celebrities spotted throughout the crowd. With the U.S. having already clinched its spot in the knockout stage poised to face Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Türkiye playing for pride, the atmosphere signaled the host country’s anticipation for an exciting run at the golden World Cup Trophy.
