Angelina Jolie‘s son Knox has officially graduated.
Jolie’s youngest son with ex-husband Brad Pitt graduated from high school, as seen in social media video shared Saturday, June 6. A fan account shared video of the 17-year-old speaking, wearing a blue graduation cap and gown with leis and Tibetan prayer flags, noting he has a Muay Thai fight that night where, he said with an expletive, he would “knock them” out. The video then zooms in on a woman, resembling Jolie from behind, recording with her phone and cheering.
In a photo shared by the account, Knox, with his colorful orange and yellow hair, holds up peace signs while posing with his older brother Pax in a fighting stance.
Pitt, 62, and Jolie, 51, share six children: Maddox, 24; Pax, 22; Zahara, 21; Shiloh, 20; and 17-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. The couple, who split in 2016, finalized their tumultuous divorce in 2024.
Many of the kids have officially or unofficially dropped their father’s last name, including Maddox Jolie, Shiloh Jolie, Zahara Jolie and Knox’s twin sister Vivienne, whose name is still legally Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, but was credited as Vivienne Jolie in the Playbill for the buzzy Broadway musical “The Outsiders” in 2024.
Jolie has opened up about how having children amid her divorce “saved her.”
“I was 26 when I became a mother,” Jolie said in a 2023 cover story for Vogue. “My entire life changed. Having children saved me — and taught me to be in this world differently.
“I would’ve gone under in a much darker way had I not wanted to live for them. They’re better than me, because you want your children to be,” she continued. “Of course I’m the mother and hopefully that safe place for them and that stability. But I’m also the one that they laugh at — and I see them taking over so many different aspects of our family.”
