Igli Tare’s exit from AC Milan may not be as inevitable as recently reported, with Massimiliano Allegri’s expected continuation as head coach potentially changing the dynamic around the sporting director’s future at the club.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, via MilanNews24, Allegri holds Tare in high regard, and should the coach be confirmed for next season, which appears likely if Milan secure Champions League football against Cagliari on Sunday, that relationship could prove decisive in persuading the club to retain the Albanian director despite the widespread expectation of his departure in recent days.

Moncada future also uncertain as Nice make approach for Milan recruitment chief
The situation represents a significant shift from the narrative of the past week, during which Tare’s exit had appeared all but confirmed amid the broader turbulence surrounding Milan’s leadership structure.
The club’s hierarchy remains in flux, with owner Gerry Cardinale set to make sweeping decisions once the season concludes.
Adding another layer of complexity, Geoffrey Moncada’s position is also understood to be uncertain.
The recruitment director has attracted interest from Nice, though he is reported to be keen on remaining at San Siro.
With Furlani’s departure expected and multiple roles potentially changing hands, Milan’s summer off the pitch looks set to be as dramatic as the season itself.
