It’s diploma season, even for high-profile celebrities’ kids.
With graduation ceremonies underway, many celebs are celebrating their children’s accomplishments. Actress Reese Witherspoon applauded her son, Deacon, who graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. The two were all smiles in photos shared from his big day.
“After 4years of hard work, long days , endless papers &classes, working with the greatest teachers and making new friends,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “I’m so proud of you.”
Kate Hudson’s son Ryder also graduated from NYU. The “Song Sung Blue” star posted a photo on her Instagram story posing with the graduate and her ex, musician Chris Robinson, as US Weekly reported.
Angelina Jolie’s daughter graduated from HBCU
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s daughter, Zahara, graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Videos on social media show the 21 year old walking across the stage in a black graduation cap and gown, adorned with a blue and white shawl.
During her time at the private historically Black college, Zahara crossed Black sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha. She is one of six children shared between Jolie and Pitt, who finalized their divorce in 2024. Jolie adopted Zahara from Ethiopia in 2005.
