New Coffee Shop Opens in Edina – NEMOnews Media Group

EDINA, Mo. — A new coffee shop has opened its doors in Edina, adding another small business to the community’s downtown district.

EsKape officially began serving customers in April at 117 Main Street. The shop is owned by Mike and Angelica Bommarito, a young couple who recently moved to Edina from St. Louis with their two children.

The Bommaritos said the idea for the business grew out of a simple conversation and developed into a family-driven effort to build something of their own while putting down roots in the community. In a post shared on the business’s Facebook page, Angelica Bommarito described the journey as one built through “late nights, early mornings” and a willingness to figure things out along the way.

Now settled in Edina, the couple has turned that idea into a storefront on the square, creating a space intended to serve as a place for residents and visitors to gather.

EsKape maintains a presence on Facebook, where updates and information about the business are shared with the public.

The opening comes as locally owned businesses continue to play a key role in Edina’s business landscape. The new storefront is bringing added activity to the downtown area.
