Anaconda, the 2025 release that acts as a meta-reboot of the 1997 horror film, is available on Netflix now. Alongside black, the Anaconda meta-reboot also stars Paul Rudd, Steve Zahn, Thandiwe Newton, Daniela Melchior, Selton Mello, Ice Cube, Ione Skye, Ben Lawson, and more. Lopez also appears in the film.

The Anaconda reboot is directed by Tom Gormican, who co-wrote the screenplay with Kevin Etten, based on the franchise created by Hans Bauer, Jim Cash, and Jack Epps Jr. The movie is produced by Brad Fuller, Andrew Form, Kevin Etten, and Tom Gormican, with Samson Mücke serving as an executive producer.
The horror franchise began with the 1997 movie starring Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube, Jon Voight, and Owen Wilson.
