As of press time, Changfei Fiber Optic Cable (06869) surged 13.76% to HKD 187.7; Hon Hai Precision (06088) increased by 11.21% to HKD 7.84; Huiju Technology (01729) climbed 10.7% to HKD 16.76; and Cambridge Technology (06166) gained 6.13% to HKD 81.35.

In terms of news, the Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exhibition (OFC 2026) was recently held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Leading fiber optic manufacturers such as Corning and Changfei showcased new product portfolios including hollow-core fibers, multi-core fibers, and high-density connectors, which are expected to comprehensively enhance the connection density and scalability of data center optical networks. Additionally, Jensen Huang recently stated at the GTC conference that there will be at least USD 1 trillion in high-confidence demand by 2027.
