Known for handcrafted coffee and other beverages such as mochas, Caribou coolers, teas and more, Caribou Coffee is closing its two area locations this month.
The Ferndale and Allen Park coffee spots will close March 24, a representative for the company confirmed to The Detroit News.

The one in Ferndale opened in late 2023 at 22134 Woodward, followed by an Allen Park store at 16006 Southfield in March 2024. Both were 600-square-foot locations set up for drive-thru or walk-up ordering only.
Caribou Coffee was founded in 1992 and was around for around 20 years. It was recently revived by Panera Brands, which includes Panera Bread, Einstein Bros Bagels and Caribou Coffee.
