The episode opens with Steffy and Finn sharing a passionate moment before they begin discussing Taylor and Deacon, who also share a kiss at the office. As RJ flashes back to his kiss with Electra, Daphne enters and asks him if there’s someone special in his life.
Electra is asked by the interns who have a crush on Will whether they have now broken up, to which she agrees. The interns appear sad but secretly seem happy. Their conversation is then interrupted by Ivy, who continues to lecture Electra on why Will is not the right guy for her. This lecture comes after Electra opens her heart and lets Ivy know that she loves and misses Will.

Deacon and Taylor argue
As Taylor and Deacon share a passionate moment, Taylor asks him to stop because they cannot continue their forbidden relationship, as it could cost them a lot. They discuss Steffy’s ultimatum and how it could be risky if Sheila learns about their affair. Deacon argues that he tried to maintain his marriage with Sheila, but he cannot get Taylor out of his head.
Daphne’s attempt to reveal the truth
Daphne reminds RJ about all the girls in the office who have a crush on him before the conversation shifts to Will and Electra. RJ calls out Will for choosing another girl over Electra. However, Daphne clarifies that he was only helping her out. RJ argues that he could have simply rented an apartment for her instead of making things messy.
He also reminds her that Will never responded to Electra’s letter. Daphne interrupts and attempts to reveal that Will never got the letter, all thanks to Ivy. But before she can spill the truth, Ivy walks in and asks RJ to head to a workout session. Ivy then warns Daphne not to stick her nose into her niece’s life, with Daphne firing back with similar remarks.
Will resigns
Will heads to the main office to hand over his resignation to Steffy, who urges him to stay since he has been doing a good job at the company. They discuss Bill before Will reveals that he does not want to make things awkward for Electra, hence the resignation. They also talk about Dylan before Steffy reveals that Electra will not be happy to see him leave.
Eventually, the former couple run into each other, as Electra confronts him about the situation between them and how he made some questionable choices. Will admits that she made some similar moves as well. He reveals that he came to resign, but Steffy wishes that he would stay. Electra reveals that she also wants the same.
Steffy catches the lovebirds
As Taylor and Deacon continue their argument over their forbidden bond, Steffy walks in and is shocked. She warns Deacon to stay away from her mother and never see her again. Meanwhile, Daphne questions Ivy about how she could be so cruel toward her niece and orchestrate a breakup. Ivy reminds Daphne about Will’s questionable actions in the past, including his controversial night with Luna.
Daphne continues to believe that what Ivy is doing is not right and that even she knows it deep down. Ivy reveals that she will do anything to keep her niece safe and that nobody can stop her. In the showroom, Will and Electra try to sort things out and decide to give each other another chance before sharing a kiss.
