Leather Apron Revisited

Myha’la Herrold is a certified Miu Miu girl—we saw that clearly during the Venice Film Festival—so it was only a matter of time before she wore one of the apron dresses from the Spring 2026 collection. Many of you weren’t sold on Emma Corrin’s frilled version at the London Film Festival, calling it absurd for the red carpet. Does a custom, floor-length leather version change your view? Myha’la’s interpretation works far better than the runway, mainly because the elongated silhouette reads cleaner and less literal. She did, however, keep the same satin bra layering.

Velvet With a Twist

Kiernan Shipka wore a Nina Ricci Fall 2025 velvet blazer accented with a green bow—a piece previously worn by Pom Klementieff during the East Asian leg of her Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning press tour. Many of you loved it then, and it’s likely to land just as well here.

However, if you were curious about what sat underneath, after-party images confirmed a cami and a satin and a lace skirt.

Signature Tailoring

Marisa Abela returned to her familiar red carpet formula in McQueen: sharp tailoring with high-waisted trousers anchored by a shrunken tuxedo jacket. Yes, this is very much her usual approach, but it remains effective. It suits her frame, feels confident, and reads consistent, but some might say, repetitive. Messika jewellery completed the look.
