Four people have been treated in hospital for injuries after a collision between two cars in Kidderminster that blocked a main road.

The crash happened shortly before 16:00 GMT on Friday on the A451 Stourbridge Road at the junction with Rocky Lane, and involved a black BYD Dolphin and a silver VW Passat.

Three sustained injuries police described as serious but not life-threatening, while the fourth had minor injuries.

West Mercia Police appealed for witnesses who had seen either car before the collision or those with dashcam footage to get in touch.

The collision occurred as the Dolphin was turning out of Rocky Lane, while the Passat was turning in, police added.

The injured parties included a passenger in the Dolphin, and the driver and two passengers from the Passat.
