White House launched a website naming Boston Globe, CBS News, and others for alleged bias, criticising coverage of Trump’s remarks on six Democratic lawmakers and military orders.

The White House has launched an official website wherein it publicly criticised media organisations and named journalists who it claimed to have distorted coverage.
At the top of the page, the website read: “Misleading. Biased. Exposed.” It named the Boston Globe, CBS News and the Independent as “media offenders of the week”.
The White House accused the media houses of falsely portraying Trump’s remarks about six Democratic lawmakers who released video pushing military members to not follow legal orders.
Earlier this month, a video was released showing six Democratic lawmakers who have previously served in the military or in intelligence roles, including senators Elissa Slotkin and Mark Kelly, and representatives Maggie Goodlander, Chris Deluzio, Chrissy Houlahan and Jason Crow, The Guardian reported.
“Like us, you all swore an oath to protect and defend this constitution,” the lawmakers said in the 90-second video. “And right now, the threats to our constitution aren’t just coming from abroad, but from right here at home. Our laws are clear, you can refuse illegal orders, you can refuse illegal orders, you must refuse illegal orders. No one has to carry out orders that violate the law or our constitution.”
In response, Trump wrote on Truth Social: “It’s called SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL.”
In another post, he wrote: “This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country. Their words cannot be allowed to stand. SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR FROM TRAITORS!!! LOCK THEM UP??? President DJT.” In a third post, he added: “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!” He also reposted a statement that said: “HANG THEM GEORGE WASHINGTON WOULD !!”
According to the website by White House, “The Democrats and Fake News Media subversively implied that President Trump had issued illegal orders to service members. Every order President Trump has issued has been lawful. It is dangerous for sitting Members of Congress to incite insubordination in the United States’ military, and President Trump called for them to be held accountable.”
It also featured an “Offender Hall of Shame”, which includes the Washington Post, CBS News, CNN and MSNBC (now known as MS Now). Visitors can browse a searchable database of articles, along with the names of the journalists who wrote them. Each story is categorised under labels such as “bias”, “malpractice” or “left wing lunacy”.
Beyond those singled out as weekly offenders, the White House page also lists the Associated Press, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Politico and Axios among the long list of outlets it accuses of bias or misinformation, The Guardian reported.
This is the latest move against journalists by Trump. Previously, there have been lawsuits against the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, legal settlements with ABC and CBS, and his repeated references to major news outlets as the “enemy of the people”.
Earlier this month, Trump referred to a Bloomberg News correspondent as a “piggy” during a clash onboard Air Force One after the President was questioned about the Epstein files, The Guardian reported.
