Earlier this week, Elena Castellana posted a video on Instagram showing she had purchased a Celebrations Advent Calendar with a major “misprint” – there were no numbers on the doors.
In the video, Elena said: “I kinda like it ‘cos who’s got time to be searching for the numbers. Not me.
“But it must be some kind of misprint because who has an Advent calendar with no numbers? It’s weird.
“I suppose we don’t need to wait until 1st December. I can crack on.”
The numberless calendar has since gone viral, sending social media into a frenzy.
One person, commenting on Elena’s Instagram post, said: “Mars pls make these available immediately. Thank you.”
Another added: “Omg I want a no numbers one!!!”
While a third person posted: “No numbers, no rules just pure chocolate mystery and good taste.”
Celebrations themselves even commented on Elena’s post, writing: “We’d say it was a mistake… but the people seem to disagree.”
People over on Reddit suggested getting the numberless Celebrations Advent Calendar on eBay.
Posting in the r/AskBrits group, this user added: “Guaranteed that it will sell for at least £800.”
As news of the numberless Advent Calendar began to spread, the Chief Christmas Officer at Mars released a statement saying: “At Celebrations, Christmas is all about joy, spontaneity and doing it your way.
“The curiosity surrounding this numberless Calendar is pure festive fun and we’re loving the buzz!
“Thanks to Elena for seeing the funny side – we never planned this twist, but it’s perfectly in tune with our playful spirit.
“Given the incredible response we’re seeing, we’re definitely open to more festive spontaneity.
“Who knows what other surprises might be in store! Keep your eyes peeled and in the meantime, open whatever door you want.”

Celebrations releases viral numberless Advent Calendars – how to claim
Following the major outcry on social media, Celebrations has now confirmed it will be giving lucky fans the chance to nab themselves one of the viral numberless Advent Calendars.
They won’t be available in-store, instead, fans have been asked to post their favourite Celebrations chocolate in a post on Instagram (which can be found below).
Lucky winners will then be chosen from those who answered and receive one of the “tradition-breaking” calendars.
Celebrations, in the post on Instagram, said: “THE WAIT IS OVER! Our viral, numberless Celebrations calendars are ready!
“Still mysterious, still full of your favourite chocs, and still technically a beautiful mistake.”
