The Art Deco House on Littlestairs Road in Shanklin is featured on a national list of 25 of the best places to stay over the festive period.
The broadsheet newspaper hailed its art deco details, including round windows in the drawing room, a walnut cocktail cabinet.
The house, also known as Marine Villa, overlooks Sandown Bay and boasts deep leather sofas and a Sonos sound system, disguised as a radio.
The large property dates back to 1929.
Jane Knight, travel editor, said in the article: “Take in sweeping sea views from the upstairs sunroom before preparing a feast in the kitchen’s three ovens and sitting down to enjoy it in the oak-panelled dining room.
“Of the six bedrooms, the master suite has a round stained-glass window, and there is an accessible room. A study can serve as a seventh room.”
The Art Deco house provides accommodation for up to 18 guests and a three quarter acre garden with ponds.
The rental is currently booked over Christmas, but not over New Year.
