Walkers Snaps Spicy Tomato crisps were introduced in the UK back in 1975 under the original Smith’s brand.
It was one of two flavours, along with Savoury Cheese.
Snaps were rebranded under the Walkers name when the company acquired Smith’s in 1989.
However, Snaps later returned to being sold under the Smith’s brand, but still owned by Walkers (and its parent company PepsiCo).

The decision to axe the classic crisps has left fans across the UK devastated.
One person, posting on X, said: “Walkers Snaps are being discontinued. They’ve been with me since childhood and words cannot describe my devastation.”
Another added: “Is there a petition or can we make one to stop Smiths Snaps made in @walkers_crisps factories from being discontinued?!?!??
“So sad get rid of all the good things we have. Get rid of smokey bacon instead.”
