Brie Larson is currently promoting her new cookbook Party People alongside co-author Courtney McBroom — but the real menu might just be her wardrobe. Each look on this press tour proves that Brie isn’t just serving recipes, she’s serving themes — turning fashion into a tongue-in-cheek tribute to food, nostalgia, and play.

The Today Show

Brie kicked things off in a floral Miu Miu dress that felt like a throwback to ’60s femininity. The puff sleeves and midi length were charmingly retro, while the print brought a burst of summer freshness. I’m not completely sold on the black Miu Miu accessories though — they felt a touch too heavy against such a light, romantic palette.

The View

Here’s where things got interesting. Brie leaned into literal food fashion in Sandy Liang’s lemon-yellow Spring 2026 look. The glossy vinyl skirt was sealed with tiny plates, gloves, and measuring scales — essentially a kitchen mood board. Wearable kitchen nostalgia if you will. You can almost hear the hum of a 1950s oven and smell cookies baking. It’s funny, conceptual, and perfectly aligned with the playful spirit of Party People.

The white Aquazzura Bow Tie pumps were pitch-perfect, but the Moschino Pepperidge Farm® Lemon Milano cookie bag however, was a step too far. We didn’t need a prop when the outfit already told the whole story.

Press Junket

Brie continued her Sandy Liang streak in a navy cat-print dress from the same collection. Gone were the food references, but the playful mood stayed strong. The oversized bow, puff sleeves, and whimsical print were peak Liang — feminine with personality. The repeat of her white Aquazzura pumps gave the look continuity without overcomplicating it.

SiriusXM

By the time Brie arrived at SiriusXM, she’d swapped domestic playfulness for pop-art surrealism, courtesy of Moschino. The Resort 2026 ensemble — a printed coat and matching mini skirt covered in festive panettone motifs — was a clever, tongue-in-cheek ode to Italy’s beloved Christmas dessert. Stars, ribbons, and the handwritten phrase “e io?” (“and me?”) danced across the fabric in true Moschino fashion. Some might find it a little on the nose, once again, but I think it’s refreshingly self-aware and it fits the theme of the tour: food as joy.

The Drew Barrymore Show

For her final stop, Brie slipped into something softer but no less referential. Her Rodarte tulip-print dress carried a nostalgic air — the kind of ‘50s domestic glamour that could easily belong in a vintage cookbook illustration. The exaggerated collar and cinched waist balanced sweetness with sophistication, while her choice of accessories — a Moschino cookie-box clutch (yes, another one) reminded us that she’s still having fun.

I know some will call these looks too literal, too steeped in 1950s housewife nostalgia with the food references baked into every look, but that’s the fun of it. Brie’s in on the joke, cooking up camp and charm in equal measure.
