The Council of Fashion Designers of America has chosen Teyana Taylor as the host of the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards presented by Amazon Fashion.
Taylor, the 34-year-old actress, singer, creative director, choreographer and director, most recently starred in Paul Thomas Anderson’s “One Battle After Another.” She will next be seen opposite Kim Kardashian, Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash-Betts, Naomi Watts and Glenn Close in Ryan Murphy’s “All’s Fair” on Hulu and will appear next year opposite Ben Affleck and Matt Damon in Netflix’s “The Rip.”
The awards ceremony and gala dinner will take place Nov. 3 at the American Museum of Natural History in New York.
The evening will also feature several celebrity and fashion industry presenters.

Leslie Bibb and Joseph Altuzarra will present the American Womenswear Designer of the Year award. Competing for that award are Rachel Scott for Diotima (last year’s winner), Daniella Kallmeyer for Kallmeyer, Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, and Wes Gordon for Carolina Herrera.
Benito Skinner and Jennifer Fisher will present the American Accessory Designer of the Year Award. The nominees are Ana Khouri, Catherine Holstein for Khaite, Raul Lopez for Luar (last year’s winner, who also won in 2022), Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen for The Row, and Tory Burch.
Addison Rae and Christopher John Rogers will do the honors for the Google Shopping American Emerging Designer of the Year category. Vying for that award are Taylor Thompson for 5000, Ashlynn Park for Ashlyn, Julian Louie for Aubero, Bernard James, and Colleen Allen.
Competing for American Menswear Designer of the Year are Mike Amiri for Amiri, Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta for Eckhaus Latta, Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen for The Row, Thom Browne, and Willy Chavarria (who won last year for the second consecutive time). That presenter hasn’t been revealed yet.
Thom Browne will present Ralph Rucci with the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award. The Founder’s Award in honor of Eleanor Lambert will be given to Cynthia Rowley by Julianne Moore.
Naomi Campbell will present Pieter Mulier of Alaïa with the International Designer of the Year
award.

Ava DuVernay will present the Innovation Award presented by Amazon Fashion to Jerry Lorenzo of Fear of God. Nicole Phelps will introduce the Isabel Toledo Board of Directors’ Tribute to Andrew Walker.
Ariana DeBose and Amber Valletta will give the Positive Change Award to Donatella Versace.
As reported, A$AP Rocky, the multihyphenate artist, entrepreneur and actor, will receive the Fashion Icon award.
Another winner will be Sara Moonves, editor in chief of W, who will receive The Media Award in honor of Eugenia Sheppard. Her presenter hasn’t been revealed yet.
Creative entrepreneur and media persoanlity Jenna Lyons returns as the Official CFDA Red Carpet Host.
Amazon Fashion is the presenting parter for the CFDA Awards. Additional supporters of the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards include Google Shopping for the American Emerging Designer of the Year award, as well as MAC Cosmetics, official beauty partner, and Krug, official Champagne partner, with transportation provided by Lincoln.
