President Donald Trump is likely to name his new $300 million White House ballroom after himself, senior administration officials told ABC News.
Officials have already begun referring to the project as “The President Donald J. Trump Ballroom,” a name that “will likely stick,” according to ABC News. Trump has not publicly confirmed what he plans to call the ballroom.
When Thursday whether he had chosen a name, the president smiled and replied, “I won’t get into that now.”
The entire East Wing of the White House was demolished this week to make room for the 90,000-square-foot ballroom.
Newsweek has reached out to the White House via email on Friday afternoon for comment.
