Inquest into death of Christopher Starkey from Fakenham

Christopher Starkey died in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn on March 6.

Opening an inquest into his death at Norfolk Coroners Court, senior coroner Samantha Goward said the primary cause of death was pneumonia. He had also suffered a perforated duodenal ulcer.

Mrs Goward said Mr Starkey was a retired bus driver, who lived on Hayes lane, at Fakenham.

Mrs Goward adjourned the inquest until February 12, 2026.
