Starmer said ahead of the meeting that the trade deal signed with India in July was “the best secured by any country.” He added that it was not just a document but “a launchpad for growth,” pointing out that India is on track to become the world’s third-largest economy by 2028, making trade faster and cheaper between the two countries.
Joint appearance at Global Fintech Fest
Both the PMs will attend the sixth edition of the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) in Mumbai. The event will bring together innovators, policymakers, regulators, investors, and industry experts from across the world. This year’s theme, “Empowering Finance for a Better World – Powered by AI, Augmented Intelligence, Innovation, and Inclusion,” focuses on how technology and human insight can together build a more ethical and sustainable financial future.
