SUGAR LAND, Texas — Sugar Land police are investigating an incident on Dairy Ashford near US 90, with both directions of the roadway closed on Wednesday as the investigation continues.
Multiple police SUVs are on scene, and aerial footage shows a Mazda SUV that appears to have crashed off the road. Multiple airbags had deployed in the SUV.
Police have established a heavy presence in the area while they work to determine what happened.
Authorities say there is no active threat to the public, but are asking drivers to avoid the area until the investigation is complete. Police have not indicated when the roadway will reopen.
