October Prime Day (officially Prime Big Deals Days) starts on October 7 this year. As for what will be marked down: “typically, everything that was on sale during July’s Prime Day” along with plenty of gifts and holiday decorations, says our deals editor Sam Daly. And if you’re a real deal freak, you can get in on the action early. Everything from Crest whitening strips (read our roundup of beauty deals) to LEGO Advent calendars are already on sale. Not to be ignored, though, are the early Prime Day fashion deals. This year, the early deals are pretty on par with regular Prime Day fashion deals, namely nearly half-off Levi’s and single-digit Gap tanks. So, it’s a good time to restock your basics (before all the other Prime Day shoppers do). Here, I’ve collected all the best early fashion deals in one place. And be sure to sign up to the Strategist Sales Alert newsletter to receive the best deals of the day (before Prime Day, during Prime Day, and after Prime Day) right to your inbox.
In case you didn’t know: Gap has a storefront on Amazon. Some of its already-cheap basics are even cheaper ahead of October Prime Day, including a square-necked tank in the single digits. Then there’s also a Free People long-sleeved T-shirt going for just $18 in the Zappos section of the site. And of course, Levi’s are discounted frequently, but I found a boot-cut for only $36 (originally $60, it’s 40 percent off).
A square-necked singlet for the very low, pre-inflation price of $9.99.
It’s fitted similarly to Uniqlo Heattech.
Essentially, the LBD of T-shirts.
The Wedgies don’t actually give you a wedgie.
The “Goldilocks of jeans,” with 32-inch inseam (rather than the standard 27- or 29-inch lengths).
For the time you’re in Nantucket, Sag Harbor, or the Hudson Waterfront.
Delightfully, the stripes are in a color that’s named Cinnamon Stick.
Well, there’s no need for a belt when you have an elastic waistband.
Did you know chinos comes from the Spanish word for “toasted”?
As Esquire reported, Austin Butler had on Easy Riders in Caught Stealing.
He’ll be graduating to a Levi’s Trucker Jacket in no time.
