Shailene Woodley is quickly becoming one of Fendi’s most intriguing new ambassadors—or at the very least, a muse in the making.
Fresh from sitting front row at the label’s Spring 2026 show during Milan Fashion Week, and already wearing Fendi in Venice, the actress continued her love affair with the house at the 2025 CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards in Milan this weekend.
After her somewhat underwhelming Fashion Week look, this was pure Fendi magic.
Shailene stepped onto the carpet in an archival black strapless bustier gown from Fendi’s Fall 2019 Couture collection. Crafted in tulle and embroidered with feather-like ruffles, the gown was a textural masterpiece. Drama without ever feeling overworked.
Many stars choose the newest runway, but going archival requires a certain trust—and a willingness to honour Fendi’s artistry. It was glamorous, yes, but also a fittingly sustainable choice for a night celebrating fashion’s future by spotlighting the treasures of its past.
Finished with Bvlgari jewels, this look sealed the deal on what’s fast becoming a red carpet renaissance for Shailene. After some time away from the spotlight, she’s back, building momentum from her Motor City press tour and proving she’s one to watch again.
