Thousands Evacuated as Super Typhoon Ragasa Hits the Philippines

Super Typhoon Ragasa struck the northeastern Philippines on Monday with wind speeds equivalent to a Category 5 hurricane. The typhoon was forecast to move south of Taiwan and head toward Hong Kong.
