Trump will be joined by First Lady Melania Trump, and both will be the guests of King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla.
Originally, Trump was scheduled to arrive in the UK on Wednesday, September 17 and leave on Friday, September 19.
However, it was confirmed that the dates of the state visit would be brought forward to arrive on Tuesday, September 16, and leave on Thursday, September 18.

Ahead of Trump’s state visit, Buckingham Palace has confirmed the full schedule for the President’s stay.

Tuesday, September 16
On Tuesday, Trump will arrive in the UK with his wife, Melania, on Air Force One, where they will be greeted by Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper.
The President will also be greeted by the US ambassador, Warren Stephens and Viscount Hood, the King’s lord-in-waiting.
Trump will then go to Windsor Castle, where he will spend the night and will not have any public events.
Wednesday, September 17
On Wednesday, the President will be greeted at Windsor by a royal salute fired from the east lawn of the Castle and the Tower of London.
They will then be taken by carriage through the Windsor estate, joined by King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Princess Catherine.
The route will be lined by members of the armed forces from the Royal Marines, the army and the RAF.
The group will then have lunch in the state dining room, followed by a tour of the royal collection.
The President and the First Lady will then visit St George’s Chapel to lay a wreath on the tomb of Queen Elizabeth II.
If the weather is good, the President will have a flypast by the Red Arrows and the British and American F-35 jets.
In the evening of Wednesday, a white-tie banquet will take place in Windsor Castle where the King and Trump will give speeches.
Thursday, September 18
Thursday will see Trump leave Windsor Castle and travel to the Prime Minister’s country retreat, Chequers.
On arrival, Trump will be greeted by Sir Keir, a band of bagpipers and a guard of honour.
Sir Keir will then lead a tour of the Sir Winston Churchill archives before sitting down for an official meeting.

The world leaders will then hold a reception with business leaders, with representatives from GSK, Rolls-Royce and Microsoft.
Trump and Sir Keir will then have lunch together before a joint press conference.
In the evening, the President and the First Lady will depart the UK and fly back to the US.
