Family of Karen Eateen pay tribute to her following death

She died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital the following day.

They said: “Our entire family is heartbroken with the loss of our beautiful mum; words will not do justice how amazing she was and the pain we’ve all been in since she’s been gone.

“She was an incredible mum, nanny, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who was loved by so many –  we all now must live with a space in our hearts that will never be filled.

“Our mum had a huge impact on a lot of lives which were a lot brighter with her in them. She was our rock and would do anything for anyone.

“Mum was truly amazing and no amount of time will ever change the loss we all feel every day.”

The court confirmed that Miss Eateen was born in Wandsworth, southwest London, on January 20, 1973.

She worked as an insurance clerk and lived on Station Road in Fakenham.

A post mortem gave a preliminary cause of death as multi organ failure due to a road traffic collision.

Investigations are ongoing and a further review will be held at the court on March 16 next year.

Area coroner Johanna Thompson requested statements from the attending police officers and medical professionals.

She also invited Miss Eateen’s family to provide a pen portrait to the court.
