Seattle-based clothing-rental service Armoire is hosting its second annual South Asian Fashion Show on Sept. 19.
The event looks to celebrate the South Asian community and will feature vintage or pre-owned saris, kurtas, lehengas, and dupattas that have been styled and upcycled with modern twists that honor South Asian culture, organizers said. Attendees are encouraged to wear clothing that represents their culture, whether more traditional or contemporary.
Entertainment for the night includes a live DJ, pop-up booths from local brands, and cocktails and other beverages.
Early bird tickets are on sale now, ranging from $65 for a ruby ticket to $130 for a diamond ticket. The latter gets buyers unlimited access to a VIP cocktail bar, prime seats for the show, first access to rent or buy looks from the show, and more perks.
