Travel across the border dropping in both directions this summer.
A release from National Statistical Office of Canada showed that the amount of Canadian residents traveling back over the border has dropped drastically in the past year – by about a third.
That is something that is being noticed in Western New York as well.
Based on data from The Niagara Falls Bridge Commission, in the month of June, there were a little more than 90,000 vehicles that were Canada bound in all of June.
That is about 16% less compared to June of last year.
