Zendaya’s many outfits have made the movie star a style icon well before her 30th birthday.
She has no signature style, although there are certainly looks she doesn’t do. She’s not real hippy-dippy or boho. She doesn’t clash or chase trends. She’s not about being provocative or sensational or gimmicky, she’s feminine but not hyper-feminine, and she’s definitely not androgynous, even when doing a suit. She has her Old Hollywood moments and tends toward the glam with a healthy dose of vintage and retro pieces. Under the guidance of stylist and creative collaborator Law Roach, she has developed a reputation for always looking lovely, perhaps a tad preppy and formal, and dressed perfectly for whatever the occasion is.
In short, Zendaya is the moment. She is the event. She is the dress code. Whatever anyone else is wearing is just a little bit off, and they should look more like Zendaya.
