Lana Del Rey is part way through her UK and Ireland Summer Tour, which will see her visit Liverpool this weekend.

It is a busy weekend for music across the UK as Lana performs in Liverpool at the same time that Glastonbury Festival is taking place down in Pilton, Somerset.

The ‘Video Games’ singer will perform at Anfield Stadium on Saturday, June 28, then heads to Dublin Aviva Stadium on June 30, before finishing up her tour in Wembley on July 3 and 4.

For her gigs in Glasgow, Liverpool and Dublin, the ‘Summertime Sadness’ singer will be supported by alternative R&B singer BANKS, who released her fifth studio set Off with Her Head earlier this year.

For Wembley, she will be supported by fellow popstar Addison Rae.

Lana Del Rey, 40, released her self-titled debut album in 2010. But then Lana Del Ray, the original spelling of the singer’s stage name, was pulled from iTunes just a few months later.

Self-made videos for self-released singles followed in 2011. It was one of these, made for the song ‘Video Games’, that sparked a storm of online interest in Del Rey.

The pop ballad captured the attention of a generation and became Del Rey’s official debut single when she signed with Stranger Records a few months later. It preceded ‘Born To Die’, Del Rey’s major-label debut.

Since then, Lana has released a further seven studio albums, including 2014’s Ultraviolence and 2019’s Norman F***** Rockwell, along with two further extended plays. Her most recent record is called Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd.

Tickets went on sale back in November last year, but a limited number of tickets are still available for Lana Del Rey’s UK tour at Liverpool Anfield Stadium on June 28.
