After president-elect Donald Trump’s victory over Vice-President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election, many celebrities have expressed their disapproval and even publicly shared their plans to leave the US.

These are the stars who might not be sticking around for a second Trump administration – and two who have already hotfooted it to England.

1. Eva Longoria

Only Murders in the Building star Eva Longoria announced that she and her family are officially relocating out of Los Angeles and will split their time between Spain and Mexico following the election results.

“I get to escape and go somewhere. Most Americans aren’t so lucky,” Longoria said in an interview with Marie Claire in mid November. “They’re going to be stuck in this dystopian country, and my anxiety and sadness is for them.”

She noted that the US is “a scary place” and will remain that way if “Trump keeps his promises”.

America Ferrera is leaving America in search of a new life in the United Kingdom. She is said to be “sick” after Donald Trump’s re-election.

In November, reports emerged that the Barbie actress was spotted searching for schools for her children, six-year-old Sebastian and four-year-old Lucia. Ferrera shares the children with her husband Ryan Piers Williams.

A source told Hello Magazine, “It looks like she’s planning to move to southwest London.”

3. Laverne Cox
