Kabul: A magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck 47 kilometres north-northwest of Khandūd, Afghanistan, at 05:30 IST on Friday, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC). The initial reports suggest that the quake occurred at a depth of 51 kilometres. According to reports, tremors were also felt in the regions of Jammu and Kashmir
