October brings a fresh wave of new dining destinations to Hong Kong, with highlights including the high-profile reopening of a French icon, a new buffet restaurant in a five-star hotel and a beloved bakery opening its eighth store on The Peak.
These join other recent additions, like two restaurants offering authentic Thai flavours and the relocation of a classic Italian restaurant to 1881 Heritage in Tsim Sha Tsui.

1. L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon
L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, which held three Michelin stars for 13 consecutive years until it closed for renovation in January this year, has made a triumphant return to Landmark in Central.
The new space has been expanded to 18,000 square feet (1,670 square metres) and features a temperature-controlled wine cellar that is four times larger than the original to reflect its impressive wine list.
