Launched in 2024, the RM 27-05, limited to 80 pieces marks the end of a 16-year collaboration between Swiss luxury watchmaker Richard Mille and tennis legend Rafael Nadal, as reported by Luxury Launches. The partnership, which began in 2008, has produced a series of groundbreaking timepieces that have redefined the boundaries of sports watch engineering.
At just 11.5 grams without the strap, the RM 27-05 is the world’s lightest manual tourbillon and can withstand a 14,000G of impact, setting yet another record, as reported by South China Morning Post.

With a fortune of $235.4 billion as of Oct. 30, the world’s third-richest man has previously favored more modest watches, such as the Ulysse Nardin Dual Time, valued at nearly $7,700. However, he has recently embraced more extravagant timepieces.
His wife, Sánchez, 55, known for her affinity for luxury watches, was spotted wearing a $250,000 Richard Mille RM 07-01 Intergalactic Bright Night during their holiday in Ibiza in August, as reported by Page Six.
The RM 07-01 is believed to be one of the lavish gifts the 61-year-old tech mogul gave Sánchez in celebration of their wedding in Italy in June.
