A woman accused of ramming North Carolina troopers and driving through yards in a Gaston County neighborhood during a chase is expected in court on Wednesday.

Channel 9 has learned she’ll face a judge in Gastonia.
A neighbor in Lowell captured cell phone video of troopers trying catch the woman as she drove through backyards on Rankin Avenue Monday night.
Authorities said the chase began in Mecklenburg County seconds after they forced her off the road.
Only on Channel 9 – one witness said people could have been hurt or worse. “Just in the three minutes that we saw it, there were four or five cars that were pulled off the road,” Lance Black said. “Someone could have run off into the ditch and got hurt. I mean it could have been real, real bad.”
Neighbors said the woman drove over a mailbox, hit a parked van, and drove through backyards trying to get away. They said she also had a dog in the car.
She now faces several charges, including three assault charges for reportedly trying to ram officers with her car.
