What time is the F1? When to watch the Singapore Grand Prix

Russell (Mercedes) finished 0.182 seconds ahead of Max Verstappen (Red Bull) in Saturday’s (October 4) qualifying session at the Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore.

Championship leader Oscar Piastri qualified third fastest, with his nearest rival, McLaren team mate Lando Norris, finishing back in fifth.

Speaking after qualifying, Russell said: “It is amazing to be on pole.

“Yesterday was a challenging day but it is good to come back. It will be a long, sweaty race tomorrow.

“Singapore has not been the kindest to me on the past and that has been through my own doing so I will not get carried away with pole.”
