This year’s lineup features 15 new celebrities who will take to the floor in the hope of lifting the famous glitterball trophy at the end of the series.
Some of the big names taking part in Strictly 2025 include Thomas Skinner (TV personality, social media star and businessman), Balvinder Sopal (EastEnders star) and Harry Aikines-Aryeetey (Olympian and Gladiator – Nitro).
Judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas (head judge) will be back again in 2025, while Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman return as hosts.

The first live show of Strictly Come Dancing 2025 will air on BBC One and iPlayer tonight (Saturday, September 27).

The BBC said: “Fresh from the training room, our 15 couples join Tess and Claud in the ballroom, ready to perform their first routines of the competition.
“Whilst they may not have to face the public vote this week, they do have to face the judges, who will be handing out the first scores of the series.
“As our couples are making their dance floor debuts this week, no-one is going home, and the judges’ scores will be carried over to next weekend, when viewers will have their first chance to vote for their favourites.”
