Doja Cat Teases New Music as the Star of a Marc Jacobs Pre-Fall Spot
Leave it to Doja Cat to use a new Marc Jacobs campaign to show off her style and premiere some new music.
In a shoot titled “Staycation,” the Grammy-winning artist modeled pieces from the forthcoming Pre-Fall 2025 collection, with a specific focus on the brand’s arsenal of bags, including the Dual, the Snapshot Mini Pouchette, and the Glam Claw Clip Shoulder Bag.
Photographed by Stef Mitchell and filmed by Christian Breslauer, Doja is seen running around a dreamlike city, while a preview of her new song “Jealous Type” plays in the background. This song will serve as the first single from her forthcoming fifth studio album, Vie.
On the concept of the shoot, Doja Cat said: “Being on vacation isn’t about where you go. It’s about how you show up—whether you’re just enjoying the city or soaking up the sun at the beach. This Marc Jacobs campaign is about living life and serving looks. It couldn’t be a more perfect stage to preview my new music, where retro glam meets a little soul.”
Venus Williams Channels “The Birth of Venus” for Lacoste
As they say, it’s all in a name.
After repping Lacoste at the Met Gala earlier this week, Venus Williams continued her support of the brand by posing with other tennis greats for a new campaign, called “Play With Icons.”
Of course, while Williams’s record on the court is iconic, so is her first name, and the campaign gives a nod to one of the most famous pieces of art that uses it: The Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli.
In a photo by Tyler Mitchell, Williams is caught in motion, stepping out of a pleated skirt that is orchestrated to look just like the scallop shell Venus stands in, as captured in the famous Botticelli painting.
Meanwhile, the athlete sports a chocolate-brown set and holds a tennis ball in her hand, while rocking long wavy locks that are reminiscent of the famous painting subject too. As Williams told Harper’s Bazaar in an interview back in 2024: “Tennis never goes out of style—it’s always trending!”
Brunello Cucinelli Honors His Father in New Photobook
Following the success of her work Mother and Child, photographer and author Claiborne Swanson Frank is releasing a new photobook, fittingly called Father and Child, just in time for Father’s Day, which falls on June 15.
The tome was created in collaboration with Brunello Cucinelli, who was inspired by the meaning of fatherhood in his life, and who tapped members of his family to help contribute to the project.
Out May 22 and available for pre-order starting May 14, the book is like a well-curated scrapbook, compiling the stories of over fifty iconic father-child families, including submissions from stars like Eli Manning, Wes Gordon, James Van Der Beek, Rashid Johnson, and more. You can learn more here.
Luna Blaise Models ’90s-Inspired Beachwear in New Hunza G Campaign
Kate Moss. Naomi Campbell. Cindy Crawford. There’s a reason we know these names, and these models continue to inspire fashion to this day, most recently with a new campaign from Hunza G.
To promote its first-ever gingham collection, Hunza G tapped actor Luna Blaise, who will star in the new Jurassic World Rebirth film, out this July.
For the shoot, Blaise modeled pieces from the beachy Hunza G collection, including swimsuits and ready-to-wear staples like sarongs, minidresses, and more—using these modeling legends as inspiration.
