Police are asking drivers to avoid the area.
ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — A portion of US-131 in Allegan County is closed after a semi truck hit and damaged a bridge.
The truck reportedly hit the 146th Street overpass, south of the Kent County line on southbound US-131, on Tuesday afternoon.
The highway is closed between 76th and 146th streets, including all ramps in that area.
Police are asking drivers to use Clyde Park Avenue or South Division Avenue to avoid the area.
