Ratan Tata was laid to rest in Mumbai on Thursday (Oct 10) with state honors and thousands turned up to pay tribute. A stampede-like situation ensued outside Mumbai’s National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), where people gathered to pay their last respects to Ratan Tata, who passed away late Wednesday. 

The United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Thursday (Oct 10) accused Israel of a ‘crime against humanity of extermination’, adding that “Israel has perpetrated a concerted policy to destroy Gaza’s healthcare system as part of a broader assault on Gaza.” This comes after Israeli airstrikes killed at least 28 people in a Gaza school.
