FORT WORTH — A jury found Anthony Ryan Patterson guilty of five counts on Tuesday during his trial for allegations of child sexual abuse and child trafficking.
Patterson was found guilty of trafficking, three counts of indecency with a child by exposure and sexual performance by a child. The punishment phase of his trial is expected to follow.

Patterson, 48, of Wichita Falls was charged with 13 counts. The charges are in connection with alleged incidents in 2017 involving two girls, 8 and 10, brought to Patterson from Vernon by a sex worker.
Jurors began a second day of deliberation on Patterson’s fate Tuesday morning.
On Monday, 78th District Judge Meredith Kennedy sent the eight men and four women on the jury home for the night after they deliberated about six hours without returning any verdicts.
About 12:19 p.m. Monday, jurors retired to begin deliberating on guilty or not guilty verdicts for the charges.
Closing arguments also took place on Monday.

Defense attorneys for Patterson, the scion of a prominent regional auto dealer, successfully sought to move the trial from Wichita County to Tarrant County because the case generated such intense interest.
